Size & Product Care Guide

Every ONETHANZERO garment is designed with a considered fit, structure, and silhouette. Our products are created using premium heavyweight materials and intentional construction — fit may vary slightly depending on fabric weight, garment structure and individual body shape.

For the best fit, use the measurement guide below before selecting your size.

How To Measure

  • Wear light clothing or measure directly on the body
  • Keep the measuring tape flat and relaxed
  • Do not pull the tape tightly
  • Measure naturally without changing your posture

Chest

Measure around the fullest part of your chest. Keep the tape horizontal, under your arms, across your shoulder blades. Determines the fit of hoodies, tees, jackets, compression tops, tanks and crop tops.

Waist

Measure around your natural waistline. Keep the tape above your hips, relaxed and parallel to the floor. Determines the fit of sweatpants, compression pants, leggings and shorts.

Hip

Measure around the fullest part of your hips. Keep the tape level and relaxed around the widest point.

Inseam

Measure from the top inside of your leg down to your ankle.

Product Care — General

ONETHANZERO products are designed to become part of your routine. Premium materials require intentional care. Before washing, check the garment care label, turn garments inside out, close zippers and remove items from pockets.

Washing & Drying

  • Machine wash at 30°C maximum, gentle cycle, mild detergent, similar colours
  • Avoid bleach, harsh chemicals and fabric softeners
  • Air dry naturally, reshape while damp, away from direct sunlight
  • Avoid high heat tumble drying, radiators, or excessive heat exposure

Ironing

Iron on low to medium heat. Avoid direct contact with embroidery, printed graphics and woven labels — place a cloth between the iron and detailed areas if necessary.

Embroidery & Hardware

Wash garments inside out. Avoid aggressive brushing and pulling loose threads. Close zippers before washing and avoid forcing damaged zippers.

Storage

Store garments folded where possible, in a dry environment away from direct sunlight and excessive moisture. Avoid leaving heavy garments hanging for extended periods as this may affect shape.

Performance Collection Care

After training, allow garments to air before storage. Wash regularly with mild detergent. Avoid fabric softeners, excessive heat, and rough surfaces that may damage fibres.

Heavyweight Hoodie Fabric Weights & GSM

GSM (grams per square metre) measures how much a fabric weighs relative to its area. Higher GSM = heavier, denser, more structured fabric. It is one of the most reliable indicators of hoodie quality alongside cotton grade, loop construction and finishing.

Our Foundation and Editorial hoodies are built at 500–550 gsm — the upper range of heavyweight construction — using long-staple cotton for density, drape, and long-term integrity.

  • 180–240 gsm — Lightweight. Layering tees and summer sweatshirts. Drapes softly, less structure.
  • 260–320 gsm — Midweight. Everyday sweatshirt weight. Balanced between comfort and structure.
  • 330–420 gsm — Heavyweight. Structured hoodies with defined shoulder, hood and hem stance.
  • 430–500 gsm — Premium heavyweight. Dense hand-feel, architectural silhouette, brushed interior loft.
  • 500–600 gsm — Ultra-heavyweight. Boxy, sculpted drape. Collector-grade construction. Our Prima and Virtus builds live here.
  • 600 gsm+ — Extreme heavyweight. Rare, boxy, ceremonial. Trades wearability for weight.

What To Look For In A Heavyweight Hoodie

  • Long-staple cotton (Supima, Peruvian Pima, Egyptian) for softness and durability
  • Loopback or brushed fleece interior for warmth without stiffness
  • Ribbed cuffs and waistband with proper recovery
  • Reinforced neck tape and double-needle stitching at stress points
  • Fabric that holds shape after washing — a sign of proper pre-shrinking

Caring For Heavyweight Cotton

Heavyweight cotton absorbs more water and takes longer to dry. Wash cold, inside out, and reshape while damp. Air dry flat to preserve the intended silhouette — hanging heavy garments wet can stretch the shoulders permanently.
